San Diego, CA--June 8, 2011--Mentor Capital, Inc. (OTCMarket:MNTR) announced that five new cancer companies have
requested that Mentor Capital draft and forward funding contracts with a value of $40 Million for their review and
potential execution. Additionally, twenty other cancer fighting companies have initiated investment funding
information requests that could lead to contracts and funding to capture the remainder of Mentor Capital’s current
$125 Million funding limit.
Mentor met with managements and screened approximately forty, often leading- edge, cancer companies for potential
investment at the June 3-7, 2011 ASCO cancer conference in Chicago, IL. Mentor is experiencing that the typical
requested cancer funding increment is $10 Million and is to be applied to support a round of FDA drug development
trials.
Mentor Capital, which only is acquiring and investing in cancer related companies, initiated its current round of
funding May 5, 2011. If the drafted contracts are concluded, Mentor will hold $20 per share in cancer assets. The
company currently has $2.50 per Mentor share in cancer assets from twelve companies. The majority of funding for
participating cancer companies will come from the exercise of Mentor Capital warrants at a $7.00 per share strike
price. The Mentor Capital structure and typical cancer investments can be tracked through investor information and
summaries of the several smaller stock purchases made for the Cancer
Immunotherapy Index presented at www.MentorCapital.com.
