Mentor Capital Seeks Partners as Neutron Cancer Therapy Investee Accelerates Path to Treatment and
Increased Valuation |

San Diego, CA--July 26, 2011--Mentor Capital, Inc. (OTC Markets: MNTR) announces that it is seeking to partner with
medical funding entities to accommodate the accelerated progress of its neutron cancer therapy investee, Hadron
Systems, Inc. The recent early finalization of a neutron device has jumped the current valuation of Hadron by an
estimated 400%, according to discussions with their management.
Mentor Capital’s program plan projected that a neutron device would be developed by February 2012, and Mentor would
fund $5 Million spread over that time period. Hadron’s unexpected technical news that it has now cleared that last
major hurdle multiplies the value of Mentor’s 9% position, but also will greatly shorten the period for the company
to complete the $5 Million in funding. “We look to partner with others to fund timely and maintain our valuable
contract rights for the benefit of our shareholders who are funding the cancer fight,” comments Mentor Capital,
CEO, Chester Billingsley.
Billingsley, who first studied proton radiology at MIT, explains why he chose to fund this cancer breakthrough:
“Neutrons pass harmlessly through human tissue without the collateral damage of radiation. However, if just a few
atoms of Gadolinium are biologically tagged within the cancer nuclei, the absorption of a neutron ejects a high
energy electron that can cleave the double DNA strand, stopping the cancer cell. This novel approach may allow for
full body treatment for blood or metastasized cancers, where classic radiation would kill the patient.” Hadron
Systems, Inc. reports a clinical trial to include late-stage cancer patients is planned for September 2012.
A sample of a $10 Million pro forma Direct Cancer Equity Contract, similar to the contract with Hadron, with
additional relevant information, is presented at www.MentorCapital.com. Mentor Capital, Inc. targets its
acquisitions and investments exclusively toward leading-edge cancer companies.
